Ryan A. Brown was born in Kansas City and raised in California. His first job in the computer industry began at the age of eleven, building and repairing personal computers for a local store in Santa Barbara, California. In 1993 he began a computer and Internet consulting firm and started the first Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Santa Barbara.
Ryan went on to attend Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where he received a BS in Computer Science with departmental and school honors and a BA in Spanish in 2000. Ryan is a member of Tau Beta Pi, Upsilon Pi Epsilon and the ACM, and won awards for undergraduate research and teaching. Continuing at Johns Hopkins, he received a Masters of Science and Engineering in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins in May of 2002.
After completing his Computer Science studies, Ryan went on to earn a Juris Doctorate Magna Cum Laude in December of 2006 from George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia.
Ryan is on the board of the Arlington County Bar Association and has volunteered for several pro-bono projects in Northern Virginia including Wills for Heroes which provides free wills and estate planning documents to first responders (police, sheriff, fire & paramedics). Ryan teaches an annual Continuing Legal Education class with Professor John L. Costello at George Mason University School of Law and occasionally guest lectures at the law school.

Eric M. Lemmer, Esq.

Eric M. Lemmer was born in Temple, Texas and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. After graduating from Cave Spring High School in 2001, Eric attended the University of Virginia. Eric was admitted for his last two years of college into the McIntire School of Commerce, where he studied business until graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce. While at McIntire, Eric concentrated his studies on finance and marketing and also completed several accounting and economics courses. Throughout college, Eric was an active member of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity and served as the Treasurer and on the House Judiciary Committee.
After completing his business studies, Eric earned a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 2008 from George Mason University School of Law, located in Arlington, Virginia. While at GMU, Eric served as an Associate Editor on the George Mason Civil Rights Law Journal. During the summer of 2006, Eric worked at the law offices of Delaney, McCarthy & Colton, PC in connection with GMU’s Domestic Relations Clinic, where he interviewed clients, drafted affidavits, complaints and decrees, and researched legal issues relating to divorce proceedings.
Before joining the Arlington Law Group, Eric worked for over three years in the District of Columbia at the law firm Bingham McCutchen LLP, where he represented a variety of domestic and international technology, telecommunications and private equity enterprises on time-sensitive transactional matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings and general corporate governance matters. While at Bingham, Eric obtained extensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial and government contracts, including stock and asset purchase agreements, real estate leases, employment agreements, indemnification agreements and board and stockholder consents.
