Bridget A. Alzheimer was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, where she attended Augusta State University. After graduating cum laude with degrees in English Literature and Spanish, she moved to South Korea where she taught English as a Second Language for two years.
Upon returning to the United States, Bridget completed a Master of Library and Information Science at Valdosta State University. While pursuing this degree she worked for a large law firm in Atlanta, Georgia, which prompted her interest in the law.
After a move across the country with her military spouse, Bridget came back to the East coast to attend George Mason University School of Law. While in law school she was active in various legal societies, including the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society and the Military Law Society. She graduated with concentrations in tax and personal law.
Before joining Arlington Law Group, Bridget worked for more than two years at Ward Chisholm, PC in Bethesda, Maryland. Her practice there included advising clients regarding formation, management, and termination of businesses, estate planning, and estate and trust administration. In addition, Bridget had the opportunity to assist clients in maintaining compliance in unusual areas of tax law such as withholding on payments to international suppliers and distributing estate assets to foreign beneficiaries.
